The Vet , Joe Silveira was assigned to the f battery 26th target acquisition battery with one home base and four outpost C2, A4, C4, they targeted the VC, Joe says in his email that he bought these from the local villagers who were selling item at the river crossing just north of the main road going to C2. At that river crossing one could get anything from soda, popsicles to a small refrigeration etc.

The seal trident was authorized to be worn by seals in 1972, the only original ones are made by crew and stamped they are sterling silver but not marked sterling. Ones marked sterling are not war time, these were also named after a famous beer
