Vietnam War Uniforms

A VERY RARE ALMOST NEVER FOUND SPECIAL FORCES USED BDU OFFICER UNIFORM TOP WITH POPLIN JUNGLE JACKET

This coat is named to a LT. Colonel Thomas, intelligence. The coat is one of I have never found another. Coat is modelled after what looks to be a British ww2 airborne jacket. I have talked to some noted US Special Forces Collectors and I was told they were briefly worn in the late 1960’s.
The officer’s poplin jungle jacket came with the coat above, He did a combat tour with the 25th Infantry. The 25th infantry insignia on the combat sleeve. He also had the Infantry Rifleman’s Qualification Badge only. No CIB.

US AIR FORCE SPECTRE GUN SHIP, CAPTIANS THAI MADE FIIGHT JACKET

Jacket is in excellent condition, direct embroider insignia, retains the original Thai tailor label. These are hard to find.

VERY RARE MILITRY POLICE, DOG HANDLER, USAF. VERY OBSCURE MILITARY UNIT OF THE VIETNAM WAR.

This ERDL jungle jacket with insignia, mostly theatre made, Cobra Flight was the name of a unit that did base security, complete security comprised of only USAF personal. They were even reported to have mini guns mounted on Jeeps that patrolled the perimeter of the base at Phu Cat South Vietnam. Later the unit was sent to the secret base in Thailand, Nakhon Phanom.
The jacket has a COBRA FLIGHT patches on the sleeves and is named, in my search for this rare unit I found only one web site that explained the history of the unit. There was nothing on the site to explain or show the insignia for this unit. The members of the unit may have designed there only insignia and had them made in country. Super rare insignia.
